LIC to disburse Rs 12,404.82 crore

Bhopal, Dec 20: The Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) of India will disburse Rs 12,404.82 crore as dividend this year.

''The Centre's share will be Rs 604.24 crore. An unit-linked insurance policy 'Money Plus' has been floated today and includes investment and insurance cover for accidents and grave ailments,'' Regional Manager (Marketing) Babu Ram told reporters here.

Pointing out that the LIC achieved this fiscal's target of Rs 677.62 crore in the Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh region by November 15, he added that the Corporation set up eight satellite branches this year and the ninth would be functional by December end.
