Jail for ONGC ex-official in bribery case

Visakhapatnam, Dec 20 (UNI) A CBI Special Court today found a former ONGC official guilty of accepting bribe and sentenced him to undergo one year simple imprisonment besides paying a fine of Rs 1,000.

A CBI release here said the prosecution submitted Mr R V K Babu, a former manager of estate section in ONGC, was caught red-handed while accepting Rs 5,000 from a temporary employee for doing an official favour.
