High-level NDA committee to visit death site of Abhishek

Ranchi, Dec 20 (UNI) Leader of opposition in Jharkhand Assembly Arjun Munda today said a high level committee comprising NDA leaders will tomorrow visit Dassam fall, the place where Birla Institute of Technology student Abhishek Mishra drowned.

Mr Munda told reporters here the state government's stand over the entire issue raises doubts and the NDA would keep on raising the issue till it was not handed over to the CBI.

He said the government should also conduct inquiry into the death of BJP leaders Vir Singh Munda and Hariom Jha.

Mr Munda demanded a fresh postmortem of Vir Singh Munda's body by a separate medical board alleging that his family was being pressurised to term his death as an accident.

He said the team visiting the Dassam fall will innclude MR Radhakrishna Kishore, Mr Ramesh Munda from JD(U) and Mr Raghubar Das, Mr P N Singh and Mr Neel Kanth Munda from BJP.

Abhishek Mishra, a student of seventh semester at BIT, drowned at the Dassam fall on December 8 when he went there for a picnic along with his friends including Ragini, daughter of Union Railway minister Lalu Prasad.
