CM hopeful about separate HC for Haryana in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, Dec 20 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today expressed hope that the state would get a separate High Court in Chandigarh adding that ''encouraging progress'' had been made on the issue.
The Chief Minister, who was replying to the questions of media persons after the meeting of the State Cabinet here this evening, replied in affirmative when asked whether the State would accept bifurcation of the existing Punjab and Haryana High Court here.
The Chief Minister said that a rally would be organised at Sirsa on March 4 to mark the completion of two years of the present government in office. The significant achievements made during the two years would be highlighted on the occasion, he added.
