BRO connects remote village in Mizoram
Aizawl, Dec 20 (UNI) Border Roads Organisation (BRO) has connected a remote village called Parva in south Mizoram near Indo-Myanmar border area.
The 186-km road from Lawngtlai district to Parva connects about 50 villages enroute.
BRO officials today said it took just a couple of years to complete the road by working round the clock on steepy hills and slopes with deep gorges.
''Due to the connectivity of the road, the development of the remote village would be much faster,'' the officials said, adding that before the construction of road people use to treck along these area even for medical treatment.
