Acropetal signs $42 mn contract with US Co

Bangalore, Dec 20: Acropetal Technologies, a cost effective global Information Technology services, has entered into an exclusive three-year agreement with US based Datassured Communications to provide Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) and development services.

Disclosing this to newsmen here Company Founder and Managing Director D Ravi Kumar said an offshore development centre would be set up involving an investment of Rs 20 crores in the next few months as part of the agreement. The centre would be dedicated to Datassured's projects and an on-site team for deployment and integration activities, he added.

Replying to queries he said the company's revenue during this year was projected at US Dollars 10 million as against Rs 7.50 lakh last year. " We are helping Datassured to save substantial time and infrastructure costs through our ability to quickly adapt and expand our services to meet their requirements to rapidly deliver superior IT based solutions and services to a global market while assuring the highest consistent quality," he added.

Datassured Chief Executive Officer David L Walter said Acropetal was selected because it had proven software development resources and infrastructure to cost effectively deliver total life-cycle support for a broad spectrum of integrated solutions and the ability to scale up to the demands of growing customer base of Fortune 1000 companies.
