5th Maruti Suzuki Autocross from Friday

Noida, Dec 20 (UNI) Nearly 100 budding rallyists would vie for top honours when the fifth Maruti Suzuki Autocross Racing event gets underway here on Friday at the Sector 32 Grounds.

The three-day skill-driving event will be open to vehicles in classes from 800cc to 1600 cc.

Apart from necessary documents like driving license and insurance papers etc, seat belts and helmet for the driver are mandatory.

Two cars will negotiate a specially designed twin-track prescribed course, which will incorporate bends of different curvature.

The attraction of the Autocross is a specially fabricated bridge which participants crossover to change from one track to other. The nature of track is such that it will award those with good driving skills. The winner at the end will be the driver with the fastest timings.
