125 ITC to be set up in Orissa in private sector

Bhubaneswar, Dec 20 (UNI) The Orissa government today decided to allow private sectors to set up Industrial Training Centres(ITC) in 125 blocks in the state.

A high level meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, today cleared the proposal to have the ITC in all the 314 blocks in the state.

Since 224 blocks in the state have the ITC of which 25 being run by the government and the rest 199 by the private house,the remaining 125 blocks would have the ITC in the private sector.

Official sources said the State Employment Mission would recommend the names of the self-employed youths to be enrolled in the ITC set up by private houses.
