Zubair Ahmed, new MD of GlaxoSmithKline

Gurgaon, Dec 19 (UNI) GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare (GSKCH) today appointed Mr Zubair Ahmed as its new Managing Director.

Mr Ahmed will succed the outgoing Managing Director Nick Massey who hold the post for four years.

''It makes me content to be leaving at a time when India and GSKCH really is shining. The Indian economy is growing faster than ever before and there is a strong feel-good factor all round,'' Mr Massey said.

''Zubair was the ideal choice for the company because of his wealth of knowledge and insights of the FMCG industry as well as his strategic leadership and management skills,'' company's Chairman Simon Scarff said.
