SBI launches Gold Debit MasterCard

New Delhi, Dec 19 (UNI) The largest state-run bank State Bank of India (SBI) today launched its Gold Debit MasterCard, offering increased daily cash withdrawal limit of Rs 50,000 and daily POS transaction limit of Rs 2 lakh.

It is a signature based international card, which provides greater convenience and acceptance.

''SBI Gold Debit MasterCard card has been introduced in order to accord a special status to its existing valued constituents.

It also wants to target the fast growing affluent segment in the country,'' SBI Managing Director (NB) Yogesh Agarwal said.

The card offers arange of value added benefits to the cardholders, including internationally acceptable at 1.2 million ATMs and more than 24 million acceptance locations worldwide.

It covers personal insurance up to Rs 2,00,000 on death due to accident and purchase protection for theft and or damage up to 90 days.
