Retired IAS to head Punjab Pay Commission

Chandigarh, Dec 19 (UNI) A former IAS officer of the Punjab cadre will head the fifth Punjab Pay Commission for government employees of the state, an official spokesman today said.

Mr S K Tuteja, former Union Secretary for Food and Public Distribution, will head the Commission.

Its other members will be Mr R S Ghuman, economist and Mr A S Oberoi, who retired from the International Labour Organisation. Mr R C Nayyar, IAS, will be the member-secretary of the commission.

Mr Tuteja is a former IAS officer of the Punjab cadre. He retired in June last year.
