Pawar hospitalised, condition normal says doctors
New Delhi, Dec 19 (UNI) Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar was admitted to a private hospital this evening after he complained of breathlessness.
Mr Pawar's blood pressure shot up, while he was proceeding to Chennai and was straight away driven from the Indira Gandhi Airport to Escorts Hospital for treatment, sources said.
The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) supremo was administered oxygen at the airport itself. Doctors who had done a detailed medical check up on the Union Minister described his condition as normal.
Union Minister for Civil Aviation Praful Patel reached the airport on hearing about Mr Pawar's indisposition, the sources added.
