MP Govt to protect rights of minorities

Bhopal, Dec 19 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said the government would ensure justice and equal treatment to members of Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Parsi and other minority communities.

Addressing a seminar organised by the Madhya Pradesh State Minorities Commission on the occasion of Minorities Rights Day yesterday, Mr Chouhan, who was chief guest on the occasion, said the government would protect the rights of minorities.

He said backward sections of minority communities would be brought forward and integrated into the mainstream. All possible assistance would be provided for their economic development.

Reiterating that the rights of minorities would be full protected during the BJP rule, Mr Chouhan said adequate arrangements were being made for providing modern and technical education in madrassas besides religious education.

He promised that youths belonging to minority communities would be provided adequate opportunities for education and employment.
