Move to construct India-Nepal, India-Bhutan road

New Delhi, Dec 19 (UNI) The Government of India has formulated a proposal for construction and upgradation of road along Indo-Nepal and India-Bhutan border in the States of Uttaranchal, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Asom,the Lok Sabha was told today.

Minister of State for Home S Regupathy said in a written answer that this included roads of about 656.5 kms at an estimated cost of Rs 446 crores in Bihar .

The proposal has been worked out in consulation with the state government concerned, the Minister said.

The government had not yet finalised the mechanism of funding the project, he added.
