Motorcyclist knocked down fatally

Puducherry, Dec 19 (UNI) A 40-year-old man was killed on the spot when a Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation bus hit the motorcycle he was riding at Manaveli near Villainur here today.

According to police, Vincent Thomas working as a manager at a private industry at Pathukkannu was returning after inspecting the construction work of his house when the mishap occurred.

The body was sent to the government general hospital for post-mortem.
