London Exchange a possible strategic patner for BSE:Min

New Delhi, Dec 19 (UNI) There are many prospective partners including the London Stock Exchange interested in a possible tie up with Mumbai Stock Exchange, and are in the process of making a preliminary assessment for induction as strategic partners, Rajya Sabha was informed today.

Minister of State for Finance S Palanimanickam said, in a written reply, that any alliance had to be in compliance with securities laws, corporate laws and the foreign investment policy which have been framed keeping public interest in mind.
