Kumaraswamy takes exception to 'protocol violation'
Bangalore, Dec 19 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy today took exception to the way he was invited by Kannada Sahitya Parishat President Chandrasekhar Patil to attend the 73rd All India Kannada Literary Conference, beginning in Shimoga tomorrow.
When newspersons sought to know whether he was attending the conference, an irritated Chief Minister let out his mind, saying he was not happy with the way he was invited by the organisers. The organisers remembered him only after the Shimoga Deputy Commissioner referred the issue to him, he recalled.
''I am a Kannadiga and have lot of affection towards the language. But, it does not mean that the organisers can violate the protocol. I am not saying this with arrogance,'' he said, adding that he had not decided as yet on his participation.
