Jessica murder: Amardeep moves HC for bail

New Delhi, Dec 19: Amardeep Singh Gill, who was convicted by theHigh Court yesterday in the Jessica Lall murder case for destroyingevidence, today moved a bail plea in the court.

A division bench, comprising Justices RS Sodhi and PK Bhasinyesterday, convicted Amardeep for helping the prime accused Manu Sharmaby destroying the evidence under design.

Both of them spent the previous night in the Tihar Jail.

They will be treated like undertrials. They will get work afterthe punishment has been pronounced in the case on Wednesday,'' said thejail officials.
