Jessica convict moves HC for bail

New Delhi, Dec 19 (UNI) Amardeep Singh Gill, who was convicted by the High Court yesterday in the Jessica Lall murder case for destroying evidence, today moved a bail plea in the court.

A division bench, comprising Justices RS Sodhi and PK Bhasin yesterday, convicted Amardeep for helping the prime accused Manu Sharma by destroying the evidence under design.

Both of them spent the previous night in the Tihar Jail.

They will be treated like undertrials. They will get work after the punishment has been pronounced in the case on Wednesday,'' said the jail officials.
