Fire in plastic factory in Old Delhi

New Delhi, Dec 19 (UNI) A godown in a plastic factory in the Old Delhi area caught fire today.

No casualities were, however, reported in the fire, which broke out in plastic material stored in the godown, located at Sita Ram Bazar, close to Chawri Bazaar, at around 0800 Hours, fire brigade sources said.

Nearly 22 fire tenders battled the fire for nearly three hours before it was completely extinguished at around 1100 hours, the sources said.

Though the fire led to destruction of the huge amount of plastic material stored in the godown, there were no casualities, the sources said.
