Farm commodity prices show declining trend
New Delhi, Dec 19 (UNI) Retail prices of 14 essential commodities monitored by the Department of Consumer Affairs on a daily basis have either remained steady or have declined over the past one-week.
The prices of gram, tur, tea (loose) and vanaspati have declined in the week from December 7 to December 14.
Prices of wheat and sugar have remained steady across the country and their future prices have shown a declining trend.
Future prices of gram and tur have also shown a downward trend.
Similarly the prices of rice, mustard oil, groundnut oil and onion have remained steady over a week.
Prices of wheat, milk and flour (atta) have remained steady for a month and that of salt has remained steady for over a year, said an official statement issued here today.
