Delimitation meet on MP constituencies inconclusive

New Delhi, Dec 19 (UNI) Political parties from Madhya Pradesh today held a meeting here with the Election Commission on the issue of delimitation of the Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha constituencies in the State, but no understanding could be reached.

Congress MP Jyotiraditya Scindia told UNI after the meeting that no headway was made in the hour-long meeting with Chairman of the Delimitation Commission Kuldeep Singh. A meeting has been convened again on December 26, Among those who attended the meeting were Madhya Pradesh Minister Ajay Vishnoi,former Union Minster and MP Sumitra Mahajan, BJP MP Kailash Joshi, BJP General Secretary Thawar Chand Gehlot and Congress MLAs K P Singh and Harbans Singh besides Mr Scindia.
