DDA auctions three hotel sites, total number of auction sites 15

New Delhi, Dec 19 (UNI) The Delhi Development Authority today sold out three hotel sites at Vikas Sadan, taking to 15 the total number of plots auctioned during the year.

The three hotel sites auctioned by the DDA today are located at Shahdra Central Business District in the East, Shalimar Bagh District Centre in the North and Dwarka Sector 14 in the South.

The three plots, out of the six scheduled for auction at Vikas Sadan, were sold for a total amount of Rs 574.059 crore as against the reserve price of Rs 547.78 crore.

The plots, measuring 8446 sq m, 6151 sq m and 24355 sq m respectively, were purchased by reputed developers like Parsvnath Developer Ltd, Anus Finlease and Construction (P) Ltd and Brilliant Buildtech Pvt. Ltd.

The biggest plot was at Dwarka and was sold for the highest bid of Rs 449.91 crores. No bids were received for the hotel sites at Dwarka Sector 10, Twin District. Centre Rohini and for Shastri Park District Centre.

The DDA has sold a total of 15 plots so far this year, four of them being hotel plots.

It is expected that the construction on these plots will commence soon and hotels will be ready before the 2010 Commonwealth Games.
