Case against Bishop for fraud
Machilipatnam, Andhra Pradesh, Dec 19 (UNI) Police today registered a case against Bishop John Subba Rao on charges of fraud for luring youth with offers of jobs abroad and cheating them to the tune of Rs 1.2 crore.
Talking to UNI here, Krishna District Superintendent of Police M K Singh said Dr Subha, the founder of Grace Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS), had cheated 102 unemployed youth, most of them nursing students, by luring them with job opportunities at London College of Nursing Research (LCNR) in the United Kingdom's capital.
He allegedly collected Rs one lakh per head.
Since none got the promised job, the aggrieved lodged a complaint with the police, Mr Singh added.
