Air Force jawan dies of malaria

Betul, MP, Dec 18 (UNI) A jawan, posted at Amla Air Force station in Betul, has died because of malaria at Amla Air Force hospital, official sources said today.

Assistant Sub-Inspector Ramesh Raghuvanshi told UNI over telephone that platoon jawan Vijay Kumar (52) was suffering from malaria and was admitted to the hospital. He died while undergoing treatment at 1100 hrs yesterday.

After post-mortem was carried out, the body was handed over to his family members.
