Venus Remedies secures INVIMA GMP certification

New Delhi, Dec 18 (UNI) Pharma company Venus Remedies Ltd today said it has bagged the INVIMA certification for its Baddi facility from the Columbian Drug Authorities.

This has opened the doors for exports of the company's products to not only Columbia, but also more than 10 other South American countries where this certification is recognised.

The GMP certification was granted after a week long inspection by a team from the ''Instituto Nacional de Vigilancia de Medicamentos Y Alimentos (INVIMA),'' Ministerio de la Proteccion Social, Republic of Columbia for the newly built Cephalosporins, Carbapenem and Oncology facilities of the company.

The company is only the second in India to be accredited with this certification for oncology products.

It has been working aggressively for expansion of its markets to all continents and this certification.

The company had also received tremendous response from a number of companies in Columbia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Chile, Peru and others after the recently concluded CPhl at Paris.
