Venus Remedies gets INVIMA GMP certification for its Baddi plant
Mumbai, Dec 18 (UNI) Venus Remedies Ltd has bagged the prestigious INVIMA certification for its Baddi facilities from the Columbian Drug Authorities.
Informing the BSE, the company said this GMP certification was granted after a week long inspection by a team from the ''Instituto Nacional de Vigilancia de Medicamentos Y Alimentos (INVIMA)'', Ministerio de la Proteccion Social, Republic of Columbia for the newly built Cephalosporins, Carbapenem and Oncology facilities of the Company. Venus Remedies is only the second Company in India to be accredited with this certification for Oncology products.
This GMP certification has opened the doors for exports of Company's products to not only Columbia, but also more than 10 other South American countries where this certification is recognized. The Company has been working aggressively for expansion of its markets to all continents and this certification is certainly a milestone in this journey.
It had received tremendous response from a number of parties in Columbia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Chile, Peru etc., after the recently concluded CPhl at Paris and this certification has cleared the initiation procedure for exports to these countries.
