Two groups clash in police station

Jalandhar, Dec 18 (UNI) At least three persons were injured in a violent clash between two groups of people on the Maqsudan police station premies here this afternoon.

A police spokesman said a resident of Maqsudan reached the police station to lodge an FIR in connection with a dispute over the ownership of a plot.

Soon after the opposite respondent group also arrived in the police station and assaulted compleainent and his accomplices with sharp-edged weapons.

Three injured were admitted to the Civil Hospital here, the spokesman added.
