Students obstruct road in Puducherry

Puducherry, Dec 18 (UNI) Students of a private teachers training college here today obstructed the road in front of the new busstand disrupting traffic.

According to police, the students resorted to road blockade as they could not meet Chief Minister N Rangasamy due to assembly session to put forward their grievance.

The students were unable to sit for their university examination due to some affiliation problems, police said.

Senior police officials rushed to the spot and held talks with them. After an assurance was given by the police to get them an appointment with the Chief Minister, the students called off their stir.
