Reliance launches 'Malgudi Days' on mobile

New Delhi, Dec 18: Reliance Communications today announced the launch of 'Malgudi Days' mobile content, on Reliance Mobile World.

Reliance Communications (Applications Content and Solutions Group) President Mahesh Prasad said, ''Looking at the superior capabilities of Reliance network and the huge appetite for entertainment content of our many million customers, we look forward to enhancing the suite of over 2,500 applications currently available on Reliance Mobile World.'' With the launch of Malgudi Days, Reliance Communications has further enhanced its bouquet of value-added service offerings on Reliance Mobile World platform, which has a customer base of millions of users, he added.

The caller ring back tones, ringtones, wallpapers, video clips can be accessed in the 'Hot N New' section on Reliance Mobile World under the 'Malgudi Days' option.

Each video clip and ring tone download would be charged at Rs 7 whereas Rs 5 would be charged per wallpaper download.

Reliance Mobile customers can also access it on 1234 voice portal by simply saying 'Malgudi Days' after dialing 1234.

A nominal charge of Rs 6 per minute for accessing the voice portal would be applicable.

Malgudi Days content is made available by Verity Technologies of Bangalore.
