Ramdev slapped Health Min notice

Bhopal, Dec 18 (UNI) Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev today said that the Union Health Ministry had served him a notice directing him not to make claims about curing ailments through Yoga.

''It has placed me in a dilemma,'' he told journalists here after a second phase of discussions with Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan regarding an ambitious scheme for a Patanjali Yoga Peeth and University in this state.

Reiterating his claim that Yoga could cure supposedly incurable and complex ailments, Ramdev added that Yoga had the indisputable power to render the mind and body disease-free.

''I have proof to support my contention,'' he added.
