Rain likely in TN, Andaman and Nicobar islands

Pune, Dec 18 (UNI) Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Tamil Nadu and Andaman and Nicobar islands.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Andaman and Nicobar.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep. Mainly dry weather prevailed over Arunachal Pradesh, West Bengal and Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar and Laksahdweep.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in coastal Orissa, south Konkan and Goa, south madhya Maharashtra and some parts of Marathwada, Vidarbha and north interior Karnataka and were below normal in south Madhya Pradesh, north Telangana, Rayalaseema, south interior Karnataka and north Kerala and parts of south Tamil Nadu.

They were appreciably to markedly above normal in Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, northwest Rajasthan, north Gujarat and parts of Bihar and Kashmir and were above normal in south Rajasthan and parts of east Uttar Pradesh. They were normal in rest of the country.
