PMK functionary assaults ex-SP

Kancheepuram, Dec 18: The police are on the look out for a PMK functionary who allegedly assaulted a retired police official.

Police said Former SP R Jagadeesan and PMK District Secretary Kumaraswamy had a fracas at a petrol bunk.

Kumaraswamy, who was allegedly under the influence of liquor, hit Mr Jagadeesan on his face.

The retired official then lodged a complaint with the police this morning.
