9 killed, 7 injured in a road mishap

Lucknow, Dec 18: Nine people were killed and seven others injured in a road accident on the Lucknow-Delhi highway in Shahjahanpur district early today.

The accident occured when a truck coming from Bareilly dashed against a road side tree due to heavy fog near Tilhar police station on the busy highway.

Police said nine people died on the spot while three injured are in critical condition.
