Muivah to visit Delhi on December. 20 for talks
Kohima, Dec 18 (UNI) In a significant development in the Naga peace process, the General Secretary of National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN-IM) Thuignaleng Muivah will arrive in New Delhi on December 20 next.
Sources in the NSCN-IM informed that Muivah will be arriving at New Delhi on Wednesday next for some ''serious deliberation'', but refused to divulge any details of the talks or other programme.
The sudden decision of the rebel leader to visit New Delhi is very significant as the leader of Indian Ministerial team Oscar Fernandes yesterday said the peace process between Centre and NSCN-IM was ''progressing a bit too slowly''.
It is expected that Muivah is visit will give a boost to the ongoing peace process to solve the Naga problem amicably.
