Judiciary is great and like God to me:Lalu

Patna, Dec 18 (UNI) Happy with the favourable judgement in the Disproportionate Asset (DA) case, Railway Minister Lalu Prasad said the judiciary was great and like God in which he had always faith.

In a jubilant mood Mr Prasad told newspersons here today that he always had faith in the judiciary and he honoured the judgement delivered by the court in the case. He said both, he and his wife had been acquitted in the DA case and people were happy with the judgement.

Mr Prasad, admitted that he was constantly under mental pressure which was eased following the judgement.

Meanwhile, former Bihar Chief Minister and wife of Mr Prasad, Ms Rabri Devi who is also leader of the opposition in the state assembly said we have got the verdict and the case is now over.

She said for the past 7-8 years she, along with her husband, was facing the charges of collecting wealth disproportionate to their known sources of income of which they were finally exonerated.

Ms Rabri Devi said she and her husband would continue to serve the people.
