Jail employee succumbs to bee stings

Dharwad, Karnataka, Dec 18 (UNI) An employee of the sub-jail in this district of Karnataka succumbed to honey bee stings.

According to jail sources, C V Patil (45), who was stung by the bees last night, died in the district hospital today.

The mishap occurred when the personnel put a bonfire under a tree within the jail premises to overcome the cold weather.
