Intnl conference on Advanced Computing from Dec 20
Mangalore, Dec 18 (UNI) The 14th international conference on advanced computing and communications ADCOM-2006 will be held for four days from December 20 at the National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK) in Suratkal.
The main objective of the conference was to bring together reserchers and practitioners from across the world in the field of computing and information technology and provide a forum to showcase advances in technologies from a systems and software engineering perspective, a release from NITK here said today.
The theme of the conference would be 'Autonomic Computing', emerging as a significant strategic and holistic approach to design computer-based systems, the release said.
A wide range of topics such as autonomic computing, ubiquitous computing, parallel and distributed computing, internet and web computing, mobile and wireless computing, databases, bio-informatics, image processing and pattern recognition would be addressed during the sessions, the release added.
