Five burried alive

Barrackpore, Dec 18(UNI) At least five people were killed and five others injured in a lorry accident on the National Highway No 35 (Jessor Road) at Chaltaberia near Duttapukur under Barasat police station in North 24 Parganas last night.

According to police, a mud-laden lorry struck a roadside tree and over turned leaving five of its occupants killed burried under the mud. Another five injured was admitted to Barasat District Hospital.

The bodies were recovered removing the earth, police said.
