Education assistance scheme for children of construction labourers

Bhopal, Dec 18 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh Government has started an education assistance scheme for children of labourers of construction industry.

Official sources said building construction labourers and other artisans could register themselves for the scheme by paying Rs 5.

Under the education assistance scheme, Rs 50 per month for class I-V students, Rs 75 per month for class VI-VIII students, Rs 100 per month for IX-XII students, Rs 150 per month for graduation students, Rs 225 per month for post-graduate and polytechnic students, Rs 300 per month for MBBS and BE students and Rs 400 per month for MS, MD and ME students would be provided.
