CM should tender apology for mysterious death: SUCI
Kolkata, Dec 18 (UNI) The Socialist Unity Centre of India (SUCI) today said Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee should tender apology for the unnatural death of a girl in Tata's earmarked land at Singur.
In a press conference, SUCI general secretary Provash Ghosh said how such an incident took place when police were guarding the area.
He alleged that the ruling party was trying to unleash a reign of terror in the area.
''We are not in favour of inquiry but the administration should arrest those policemen, who were on duty at that time, '' he demanded.
He also said the party's women wing will demonstrate in front of the Superintendent of Police (SP) offices and SDO offices on December 19 and 20.
