Calsoft launches 'Centre of Excellence' at B'lore

New Delhi, Dec 18: California Software Company Ltd (Calsoft) today announced the launch of its 'Center of Excellence' in Data and Telecom Solutions at Bangalore, thus moving up to next level of services apart from a product solutions company.

The centre coming with an investment of one million dollar will help the company meet the increasing requirements of the customers, who are mainly network equipment vendors, besides working on next generation products and services, including network management.

The lab will focus on R&D in 3G, Packet Cable, wireless networks and IP based wire line networks.

The facility is targeted to grow to a team size of 250 specialists in due course.

''Centre will work on potential trends in the industry. Besides being able to enhance our presence in the global market, the centre will enable us to serve our customers better,'' company's Executive VP and COO J K Nair said.

The company has been on a growth path, both organic as well as inorganic and it desires to ensure technology solutions are seamlessly delivered to customers in diverse geographical locations, Mr Nair added.
