Cades, Fokker sign strategic cooperation

Bangalore, Dec 18 (UNI) Cades, a rapidly growing diversified product design and development solutions provider, today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Fokker Services, a subsidiary of Stork Aerospace which developed and produced advanced components and systems for the aerospace industry.

Under the MoU, Fokker Services would assist Cades with projects for new aircraft building programmes and while Cades would offer assistance if Fokker Services offered large projects, such as aircraft conversions from passenger to VIP aircraft. The MoU would address the exponential demand for project-based nature of engineering activities and the associated demand for greater flexibility of Fokker Services, according to a statement here.

Fokker Services CEO Hans Berends Van loenen said that ''after a stringent selection process, India was chosen as the most realistic location for cooperation. Indian aviation companies have recently bought many aircraft from Boeing and Airbus. As a result of the compensation schemes, there is a possibility of many orders from Boeing, Airbus and their sub-contractors for companies that perform activities in India.'' Cades CEO Dataram Mishra said ''it has been a constant endeavour to be at the forefront of technological advances in the engineering domain. With the signing of the MoU, Fokker Services can make flexible use of engineers from India who are educated and trained by Fokker Services.'' UNI MSP GD SBA DB1940
