Bus plunges into sugarcane field, 12 injured

Puducherry, Dec 18 (UNI) Twelve passengers were injured, two of them seriously, when a private bus overturned at Katterikuppam near here today.

According to police, the bus carrying 23 and proceeding to Thirukkanur from here veered into a sugarcane field and overturned at Katterikuppam after the driver lost control over the vehicle.

While Johny and Vijaya, seriously injured were admitted to the government general hospital, ten others were treated as out-patients.
