Bijapur recorded minimum temperature of 9.8 degree in the State

Bangalore, Dec 18 (UNI) Following is the summary of observation recorded in weather office here at 0830 hrs today.

Bijapur recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 09.8 degree celsius over the State.

Dry weather prevailed over the State.

Cold wave conditions has prevailed over many parts of North Interior Karnataka.

Cold wave condition likely to prevail over Belgaum, Bidar, Bijapur, Bagalkote, Dharwad, Gadag, Gulbarga, Haveri, Koppal, Raichur, Davanagere, Chitradurga, Bellary districts during next two days.

Minimum temperatures appreciably fell at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and changed little over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka. They were appreciably below normal at most places being markedly so at many places over North Interior Karnataka and below normal at many places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.

Forecast valid until Wednesday morning: Dry weather may prevail over the State.

Forecast for Bangalore city: Mainly clear sky. Fog/mist likely during early morning hours. Minimum temperature would be around 13 degree celsius.
