Advertising Club to release directory

Chennai, Dec 18: Advertising Club Madras as a part of its Golden Jubilee celebrations would release first-of-its-kind "Advertising Industry Directory' in addition to its member directory.

The advertising industry directory would be released during January next, a release from the Club said today.

"The directory, which comes as an achievement of the Ad Club's glorious 50 years, comprises information of services in nearly 100 categories all related to the advertising industry," it said.

The categories included printers, translators, photographers, filmmakers, image banks, studios, freelance copywriters and art directors.

It will also have details on make-up artists, stylists, lighting specialists among others besides enumerating agencies for PR, events and promotions.

On its release, the directory would be available to general public at a reasonable price. Also it will be placed with industry and trade bodies apart from being provided to trade desks of consulates in the city.

Advertising Club Madras has outsourced the database developments and marketing job to the Chennai-based Technocrats India College Finder which has wider experience in directory publishing.
