30 taken ill after consuming prasad in Dwarka temple

Jamnagar, Dec 18 (UNI) At least 30 people were taken ill after consuming 'prasad' at the Dwarkadesh Temple in Dwarka this evening.

They are being treated at the public health centre near the temple. Three of the affected have been shifted to the Jamnagar Civil hospital, District Health Officer K P Patel said.

He has rushed to Dwarka to take stock of the situation.

The prasad had been distributed in the evening by some devotees, yet to be identified, at the Gomti ghat adjoining the temple.
