Two labours killed in a building collapse

Bangalore, Dec 17(UNI) Two construction workers, including a teen aged, were killed and another injured when a roof of an apartment under construction collapsed in the city last night.

Police said that Chandran Devoori (19) and Shantha Naik (25), hailing from Orissa, were killed on the spot and Parash Devoori seriously injured when portion of a roof of an apartment under construction came down suddenly.

The residential apartment under construction belonged to well known land developers Brigade Group and was leased to another construction firm to build.

Police have registered case against three persons including the site Engineer.

It may be recalled that during the last 15 days as many as 10 workers were killed in three separate incidents including that of Biocon, Infosys and now Brigade Group in the city.
