Teledate Informatics to pump $160mln in eSys Technologies
New Delhi, Dec 17 (UNI) Singapore-based IT distribution and PC manufacturer, eSys Technologies has partnered with Teledata Informatics Ltd for a strategic investment of 160 million Singapore dollars (SGD).
The investment from Teledata will help eSys continue and consolidate its growth from first year revenues of 187 million SGD to revenues of three billion SGD in 2005.
Fresh capital from Teledata will also help eSys further business through the acquisition mode, a statement said.
''The step will help us consolidate company's position as the market leader in IT distribution and strenghen position as a leading PC manufacturer,'' company's Group Chairman and Managing Director Vikas Goel said.
eSys started as a technology components distributor in the year 2000 and has grown to become a multinational with over 100 operations in more than 30 countries.
Its product portfolio spans a range of technology products. It has deversified into PC manufacturing with four manufacturing plants located in the US, Singapore, UAE and India.
Teledate Informatics Ltd, a 420 million SGD software solutions and services company and a technology solutions provider envisages to be among the top 20 IT companies of the world.
It has global operations across 15 countires and total tangible, perfomring assets over 210 million SGD.
Entrepreneur Vikas Goel will also be joining the board of directors of Teledata Informatics.
