Telangana leaders will hold meeting with Digvijay

Hyderabad, Dec 17 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) President K Keshava Rao said the AICC General Secretary and incharge of part affairs in Andhra Pardesh Mr Digvijay Singh would hold a meeting here with the Telangana leaders of the party on December 30 .

Addressing a press conference after the PCC executive committee meeting here today, he said the members had not raised the Telangana issue in the meeting and they opined that party President Sonia Gandhi was seized of the matter.

He said the seperate Telangaan issue and the party's performance in the recent byelections held to the Bobbili and Karimnagar Lok Sabha seats and other matters would be discussed in the' Medho Madanam' (brainstorming session) scheduled to be held here on January four and five where Digvijaya Singh, Iqbal Singh,State Minsters, MPs, and senior party leaders would particiate.
